Description
We talk to our customers a lot about having an open mind when it comes to Chardonnay and this is a fantastic unoaked example. With a high content of limestone in the chalk and clay soils, this wine is full of minerality but accompanied with gentle apple and citrus fruit. Lees ageing for 6 months gives the wine a slightly richer mouthfeel balanced with a bright acidity. A beautiful example of what this classic region and grape variety are capable of.
Although this wine is not yet classified as organic or biodynamic, the brothers are using a biodynamic approach in the vineyard to create a wine which is the truest expression of the terroir in which it is grown.
