A truly family run business with 7 brothers and cousins involved with ILatium Morini. Until 2004 they were selling most of their grapes when they decided that they would keep the best and made wine themselves. Since then the torrent of accolades including IWC Gold and glowing reviews from Jancis Robinson would suggest they made the right decision.
This is a shining example of how good a well made Soave can be. Not bland in any way (which they can be when badly made), on the contrary it is strikingly exotic with a rich ripe rhubarb and custard character, a savoury herbal edge, nutty nuances and excellent minerality.
