Lieux Perdus translates to “lost places” and this is a perfect wine to kick back and relax with. Although the producer suggests that the perfect location is overlooking the Mediterranean we have tried this in our garden in Manchester and it is pretty good there too!
Made from the Pinot Noir grape from vineyards near the famous “Bassin de Thau” and the village of Pezenas this is not just another pretty pink rose. This is delicate and dry but with enough substance to keep coming back glass after glass.
Made using the classic rosé de presse method combined with the expertise of white wine vinifcation; Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed to extract the colour without tannin and cool vinified to capture all the delicate aromatics and flavours. To maintain freshness the wine is then bottled under screwcap.
Pair with fresh seafood and light salads. Delicious!
