80% of this wine has been made by 40 year old Chenin Blanc sourced from hidden corners of the Cape and the remainder from the more opulent Viognier. These two grapes varieties are rarely blended but they complement each other perfectly. Multi-layered and aromatic with delicious generous fresh apricot, white peach and hints of jasmine on the nose. On the palate it has tight, white, fleshy stone fruit with a bright acidity, vibrant minerality and a delicious balance.
Perfect with grilled prawns with plenty of garlic and chili, whole lemon sole fried in butter and also delicate freshwater fish dishes.
